Hi, if you own an IPod, then sometime during its use it might freeze (If it already hasn’t). If this happens, there is no reason to worry about your IPod being broken because it is most likely simply frozen. Thankfully, Apple realizes this problem and created a fail safe to restart your IPod if this ever happens to you. This trick works for all IPods except for shuffle models and is really, really simple and easy to do.

1.) First Check to make sure your IPod is not on hold of plugged into your computer because if this is the case your IPod probably is not even frozen.

2.) Flip the hold button back and forth a couple of times.

3.) Hold the Center Button and the Menu Button for 6-8 seconds until the Apple sign appears on the screen. (Hold the play/pause button instead of the center button for older IPods that do not have the scroll wheel)

Thats it! If this does not work try it again. If it still does not work consider getting a new IPod! :p
