Hello, this article will explain how you can get past those pesky filters and school and work and get to myspace, facebook, bebo or any other site you please that is blocked.
There are numerous ways to get past filters and firewalls your school may incorporate. The most common method is proxies. Proxies are a form of dummi text that encodes and therefore hides the URL you are going to. Therefore, if you want to go on myspace, it does not actually show up as myspace but as the name of the proxy you are at. There are numerous proxies on the internet ranging in speed and functionality. Thankfully, we have a proxy located right on this website that can be found here.
The actual direct link to myspace via proxy from FliTools.com is Proxified MySpace.
The link to facebook via from FliTools.com proxy is Proxified Facebook.
Other Proxies commonly used are: www.goonmyspaceatschool.com and www.undofilters.com. Proxies are frequently blocked after the school administration finds out about them so you may need to find new ones. Proxy lists can be found all accross the internet.
Along with proxies, another way you can access sites that are blocked at school is right through Google! The function that allows you to do this right through google is called a cache, which is sort of a saved version of a webpage. Through this function you are able to load myspace or any other site on the internet that has been saved by Google’s archive.
For example to get on myspace.com, just go to google and search myspace: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=myspace.com. Right next to googles url are different options on how you want to view it which include, cached, similar pages, and note this. To get on myspace at school just click the button that says cached and you can get on myspace at school extremely easily. Here is what your cached page would look like: http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:0_ArKg1KPDkJ:www.myspace.com
The next way to get on myspace at school is through googles translator. Simply go to Google Language Tool and follow the instructions on how to translate the site to a different language.
If none of these work, then you can try changing the prefix as a last resort. The way this works is that some schools only block myspace.com, therefore, home.myspace.com would still appear unblocked. This of course is a long shot though.
I hope you enjoyed this information and use it effectively to use the internet freely!

7Ha ha I love it when school admins come to my website and tell me that they are adding proxies to the blocked list. Somehow, I can never believe this is true because my traffic never goes down! Whatever though, you can do whatever you want. Even if you did successfully block my site, there are millions of proxies on the web and literally thousands that are new every day. But it was a good try! I like the effort!
